I've been casually making sites for friends and family a couple of years now. With encouragement from others, I've decided to offer my web design services to the human population at large. :) I also have experience with collaborative work and site design/layout consults, so if you have some web knowledge but would like help or ideas, I can help with that too!
I have no real training in web or graphic design. I am mostly self taught through experience. However, this works very well for a lot of people. My prices reflect my limited experience, and I am extremely flexible because I get experience out of every project I can be a part of. So if you're looking for a starter web site (check out some of the sites I've worked on to see what I mean) on a fairly low budget, I would love to help. What I have to offer is a web site that provides you with an invaluable presence on the web. The web allows your business to reach more people than any other medium. It will give you somewhere to direct your customers. It also allows even more customers to find you through search engines, local listings and directories. Using not only context, but also design, I will work with you to create a site that has the look and feel that you want to convey to your potential customers about your business. Using the elements of graphics, design, and color, we can convey a specific idea and feel about your company or organization that will give people a sense of who you are and what you will provide them. The right design can make this happen, and the web is a phenomenal way to present yourself to large clientele quickly and easily.
I'm also totally game to play around with individual graphics ie. flyers, banners, business cards, etc. I don't charge by the hour, because at this point I just need ideas to play around with- so you'll just pay for the final product.

Her graphic descriptions, and fantastic photos, (a gifted photographer also) demonstrates the unique and fun atmosphere one derives from riding horses. My site is easy to read, with inviting links to answer the many questions a potential student may have.

Although technically not a professional, she sure acts like one and has a real knack for designing your pages according to your personal preferences.
