My interest in photography started sophomore year, when I took a semester of digital photography and a semester of graphic design. The class was very composition based, and the focus was on the different aspects of a successful image, not the mechanics of the camera. After the class, I worked during the summer and bought an entry level DRLR camera. I began experimenting on my own, and decided to take ap studio art senior year. With it, I decided to make photography more involved in my everyday life, to expand my range of subjects, and to explore new ideas.
